Sean McTierney Sean is in deep's director and owner and is responsible for all levels of diver training and the management of the organisation. He conducts courses ranging from open water through to advanced technical diving. In his role he aims to deliver first class diver training across the whole spectrum of diving activities and to increase the popularity of diving in the UK. He has over 18 years experience and his qualifications include: mixed gas instructor, PADI IDC Staff Instructor, HSE Commercial Diver, Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver and RYA commercially endorsed Yacht Master. Sean began his love for diving following in the footsteps of his father and sharing his passion for the sea from a very early age. He embarked on his formal commerical training at Fort Bovisands in the late 80’s and has dived some of the best wrecks and reefs in the world. Prior to joining in deep, Sean worked with exploration diver Rich Stevenson for four years. He is actively involved in marine research in the relatively unexplored twilight zone beyond the limits of air diving as director of the deep reef exploration and monitoring (dream) project. |

Lauren Bugg PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Lauren is responsible for PADI recreational training within in deep's PADI 5 star IDC centre. Her cool, calm manner and approach ensures she delivers an exceptional course to whoever she is teaching. From beginner level to advanced training, Lauren oversees and ensures that recreational training is delivered to exceptionally high standards. In her role she aims to further diving education and to draw attention to the necessity of conservation of the marine environment. Her job has allowed her to pursue her two passions of training new divers and temperate water photography. |
