Terms & Conditions
Ensuring the security and comfort of your vessel and members is our top priority. To provide a smooth and well-managed berthing experience, we have established clear policies and procedures. These terms outline the expectations and requirements for all berth holders and those using our accommodation providers.
Please read the following information carefully before accepting these terms and conditions and paying your deposit.
The group organiser (as specified on the booking form) is responsible for ensuring that all required paperwork and payments are submitted to In Deep. It is also their responsibility to communicate these terms to all individuals using the berth and accommodation.
Berth and Accommodation Booking
A provisional booking can be made via this web form, phone, or email. This provisional booking is valid for two working days, during which the full payment for your boat berth must be made.
We will then require full payment of the accommodation at least 6 weeks prior to the trip date. We endeavour to always accommodate your special requests. We withhold the right to change your accommodation to an equivalent alternative.
When utilising the 8-person deal, berth payment is required at booking and will be deducted from the final accommodation balance 6 weeks prior.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your booking, a refund can be provided (less the holding deposit) if you give In Deep a minimum of 8 weeks written notice to info@indeep.co.uk. Please make sure you receive a written response to your email to confirm delivery & receipt of your written cancellation.
Weather
Occasionally, weather conditions may prevent your trip from going ahead. The decision to cancel due to weather can be made 24-48 hours before the first day of diving, based on the most up-to-date forecasts. Our staff and skippers have extensive knowledge of local conditions and dive sites, and we are happy to provide advice when we make our final weather call.
If a cancellation is necessary due to weather, we will offer alternative dates, subject to availability in 2025 or future years. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be provided minus a £20pp admin fee.
Other reasons for cancellation
Should you not be able to attend your trip due to unforeseen circumstances other than weather, such as but not limited to; flooding, drought, war, pandemic, engine failure, fire, force majeure, or zombie apocalypse. Alternative dates will be offered subject to availability during 2025 or following years. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be provided minus a £20pp admin fee.
We recommend that if rescheduling your trip will not be at all possible, then the group should take out a holiday insurance policy.
Dive Vessels
Smoking is strictly prohibited at our dive centre and on the pontoon.
While at sea, your safety is the responsibility of your own club and their health and safety protocols. However, our team is always available to assist; please don’t hesitate to contact us during your trip if you need support.
A week before your trip, you will receive instructions and safety precautions. It is essential that you understand and follow these guidelines. If you have any questions or need clarification, please speak to a member of our staff or give us a call.
We will require a copy of your vessel insurance to be e-mailed to info@indeep.co.uk a minimum of 6 weeks before your trip. Should you not provide this In Deep has the right to cancel your booking. A refund will be given minus the holding deposit.
